I’m a Bay Area native who’s lived and worked in Minneapolis since 2005.
2012: My most recent painting exhibition, “Tangle and Sensation” was at George Billis Gallery, Los Angeles, from March 31 through May 5, 2012. The gallery’s booth at the SF Fine Art Fair will include my work. May 17-20, Fort Mason Center, San Francisco. http://www.georgebillis.com/galleryLA.html
2011: Last year I had the great fortune of being able to exhibit my work at The Minneapolis Institute of Arts, through the Minnesota Artists Exhibition Program. “Painting Before and After Words: Margaret Wall-Romana” was on view there from January 20th to April 3rd, 2011. A painting from the show titled “Towards and Away” was subsequently acquired by St. Cloud State University in St. Cloud, Minnesota. Another exhibition of my work, “Taking Time” ran from September 17th to October 23rd at The North Dakota Museum of Art. The museum, located in Grand Forks, has acquired my painting “Memento Lucem (Remember the Light)” for its permanent collection.
From 1996 until it closed in 2009, I was represented by Bucheon, a wonderful San Francisco gallery that gave numerous artists, including me, their first start.
